Some background

The Past Pupils Annual golf outing is the Unions second longest running event. For the past number of years the golfers have competed for the Ryder Cup. The Ryder Cup is a trophy kindly donated to the Union by former Union President Enda Ryder.
The golf event is great fun and brings golfers together of all abilities with an opportunity to win prizes at all handicap and non handicap levels.

But more importantly the golf event is very social able and enjoyable played on a local Dublin course. The prize giving follows the dinner and there is always eager expectation as to who the various winners are on the day.

The golf is always played in early June and is pre booked by availing of the automated booking system on this web site. Details of the golf (cost , location , times etc) are all set out on this web site and are typically available at least two months before the golf event takes place.

All green fees and dinner tickets must be paid prior to the golf and no money can be accepted on the day of the golf.

Who attends the golf?
The golf is open to all past pupils of Terenure College and their guests no matter what year you have left the College and whether you have a golf handicap or not is not an impediment to playing. There is even a non-handicap prize awarded - so no excuses!

Why is it important to attend the golf?
Firstly it is a hugely enjoyable day and an opportunity to play golf with your friends or other past pupils on a great course followed by an excellent dinner and if your lucky a prize or two! The Union would particularly welcome younger members of the Union to play in the golf outing. We know there are many young golfers in the past pupils community so please join us for this annual event where you will be made feel very welcome.

Why not organise a three-ball amongst your friends and support this great event?
